April 10th MediaXim has won the call for tender issued by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg end of 2008 for the Advertising Expenditure (ADEX) monitoring of the media in Luxembourg. The Ministry of State and its department responsible for Media and Communications preferred the solution proposed by MediaXim over the offer submitted by TNS-Ilres. The previous contract was fulfilled by ProDialog, a local company specialised in Media Analysis and Consultancy.
The offer from MediaXim Group responds to the demand for extension of the service, including a digital registration of the print media, measurement of internet spending and delivery of analysis tool for commercialisation of the data to the market. MediaXim Group has created a subsidiary in Luxembourg fully owned by the group. Ariane Eberwein, managing partner at ProDialog, will assume the function of General Manager and will ensure the commercialisation to the local and German speaking markets. This agreement ensures both the continuity of the service and local expertise required by the government. MediaXim Group will provide the logistics and software solutions (including a localised version of its ADview & ADstat tools) to produce and offer the data and reports to the market and will manage the commercialisation to all other territories.
