The acquisition of Nova Vision Europe by MediaXim

MediaXim NV and Xtreme Information are pleased to announce the good end of their negotiations that have led to the acquisition , on March 14, 2007, by MediaXim of the Belgian activities of Nova Vision Europe based in Waterloo and active for nearly 28 years in the gathering of advertising data of the Belgian market.

Through this operation the Belgian market will have one single point of contact for all advertising monitoring. This point of contact will own the most complete, integrated, cross media database, including the Belgian archives (going back as far as 1979 for TV), including the archives of the former Devisu. MediaXim will partially digitize these historical data and enrich the online offer of its ADview tool.

The Media Database will not only be accessible through the online analysis tools ADview and ADstat, but the access to the data will also be available through “ad-hoc” services (specialty of Nova Vision) thus extending the current service range of MediaXim. Thanks to an exchange agreement with Xtreme Information, MediaXim can also offer foreign advertising creations to the Belgian market.
